Vito is a fourth generation South African farmer, born in Johannesburg. The Rugani family has been farming vegetables in Gauteng since 1887. Vito obtained a BSc in agriculture from the University of Pretoria. He graduated summa cum laude in 1983 and worked on the family farm for 7 years.
As an agricultural economist, Vito enjoys grappling with the abstract concepts that drive the farming industry. He is also passionate about opera and enjoys curing Italian style ham prosciutto.
Vincent was also born in Johannesburg. The Sequeira family has been farming in the area since 1917 so Vincent is a 3rd generation farmer. After spending three years working on a farm in America, Vincent returned home to follow his dream of farming.
He ran a vegetable retail operation with his uncle and spent a number of years working as a farm manager. Eventually the time came to start his own farm where his working experience proved invaluable.
His area of expertise on Greenway Farms is as an agriculturalist. He has the gift of making anything grow. His hobbies include cycling and the outdoors.
